Please read the terms and conditions carefully before placing an order from myself, Vivienne Orchard at Artistree.co.uk. By continuing with a purchase it is deemed that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
You must be 16 years of age or older to order from the website and by accepting these terms and conditions you are confirming this. Artistree.co.uk reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without notice to you in relation to future sales. These terms do not create any rights to any parties other than the purchaser.
Orders and Prices
All prices are shown in UK pounds sterling and subject to international delivery charges. Shipping within the UK is free of charge. Online purchasing systems are via PayPal and Square which enable numerous fully secure payment methods These charges where applicable will be added on confirmation of your address and payment details and prior to the order being placed during the payment process. The description and price of goods will be as shown on the website at the time you place your order. Every effort will be made to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate at the time of purchase. If an error is discovered prior to dispatch of your order I will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.
All delivery times quoted on the Artistree.co.uk website are estimates based on availability, normal processing and delivery times. I aim to ensure that International delivery charges are as low as possible but, if a multiple order significantly increases the delivery cost I may deliver Items from the same order separately but will charge for postage and packing as per the original order. Goods ordered will be delivered to the address given when the order was placed, subject to receipt of an order confirmation email. All work will be sent to you on receipt of payment unless otherwise stated on the website, or advised by email from the me at the time of purchase. If there is no one available at the delivery address to accept delivery of goods, Artistree.co.uk cannot accept responsibility for goods that are returned to the post office and remain uncollected. A signature will be required on delivery for couriered and special delivery purchases. Receipt of a signature at the delivery address for any order will act as proof that the order has been delivered to you but during the coronavirus limitations the delivery company will have their own arrangements to reduce risk. Once the art work is considered delivered, responsibility for the work, risk of damage or loss will pass to you and you shall be responsible for insuring the work. If I am unable to deliver your order within 30 days, I will inform you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to cancel the order and obtain a full refund that will be paid to the credit or debit card with which you originally paid for your order. Artistree.co.uk is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any unavoidable delay in delivery of an order and is not liable for any damage which occurs to an order after a delivery has been made.
Ownership and Copyright
Once an art work is in your possession you may not publish or submit for publication or reproduction any image of an art work to any third party including the internet for any purpose. Copyright belongs to the artist Vivienne Orchard at Aristree.co.uk. Images of sold paintings may still be used by Artistree.co.uk for any future use including but not limited to advertising, books and other publications, social media and other web based use
Artistree.co.uk uses Paypal and Square for online payments. Paypal and Square allow the safe process of any debit and credit card payments and complete the financial transactions as securely as possible.
Artistree.co.uk is not liable for any unauthorised access to information supplied by you.
I hope you will be completely satisfied with your purchase and, if not, you have a right to cancel the order within 14 days of receipt. The purchaser may return the item, undamaged, and preferably in its original packaging or at least packaged to prevent any damage in transit. The purchaser is responsible for the returns postage costs. On receipt of the undamaged returned item I will process your return and the amount owed will be refunded to your original source of payment in the same currency (minus shipping costs and international customs fees, if any). Damaged art work caused by improper packaging cannot be refunded. Most of my artworks are originals and therefore cannot be exactly reproduced. The law enables sellers (the Artist) to deduct an amount from your refund if you have diminished the value of the Artwork by handling it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function – i.e. “unreasonable use”.
How to return items
Unpack the artwork carefully and please retain the original packaging until you are happy with your purchase. When you receive your item you have 14 days to decide if you are satisfied with the purchase or to return the item in its original condition for a refund.
If you wish to return the undamaged artwork please inform me via email within 14 days of receipt to let me know you are returning it/them . You do not have to give a reason but please be free to do so if you wish.*** Please email me before you return the artwork in order to qualify for a refund. Please post the item(s) within three (3) days of the confirmation that you will be returning the item(s)
Artwork should be returned unused and in perfect condition with the original packaging, within 14 days of the date you advise us of your cancellation, at your expense, using the postal address as provided on the invoice unless the Artist has specifically provided you with an alternative for the return. We always advise that you return artwork using a service which provides you with proof of sending. Unless your item is faulty or we have agreed otherwise with you prior to you returning the Artwork, then you will be responsible for the costs in returning the item to the Artist.
Please repackage the artwork in its original packaging securely, to guard against damages, and remove all shipping labels. Damaged artwork caused by improper packaging cannot unfortunately be refunded. The law enables sellers (the Artist) to deduct an amount from your refund if you have diminished the value of the artwork by handling it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function – i.e. “unreasonable use”. Once you have posted the item please confirm this by email.

Please note that some payment methods mean that a refund may take up to 7 days to reach your account.
What to Do If the Artwork Arrives Damaged
1 – Within fourteen (14) days of your merchandise delivery date, please email to give me your order information.
2 - Save original packaging and take photos of damaged artwork and packaging.
